Dear Sir,

I am sure this might be given a serious look there are major things which the websites of all the airports miss.

1. A diagramatic representation of all terminals must be posted under services in other words a map.

2. It should provide information of all the airlines not just only Domesticand government run airlines.

3. Update news or press releases and not have the old scroll messages.

Kindly reply.

Thanks,

Anit

Ref: Thiruvananthapuram Airport.

Dear indian airports,
why is it that there no european direct flights operated by Air India, from the capital of kerala state.
its it double standarded by air india, that they don't want do this service from there, or they just wants to make there profit from there.
they have already started doing direct flights to euope from other state which was made international status recently, ie punjab, Gujirat.

the new air india express is bit of sham because, the mass malayalies in the gulf with a small aircraft like b737, its not right aircraft for this sector at all. every summer there shortage of seat, and its over booked by 700.

please rectify this probelm for the mass malayalies in the gulf .

regards.

Dear Sir/Madam
I want to bring your attention to the harassment of people at Mumbai International Airport. It is a total robbery by Govt. agency. The custom officers at this airport are more of looters than anything else. As soon as you arrive at the airport and walk towards baggage collection area, the torture begins. The so called "helpers" start offering you the Dollar service. And once you are done with that then you come across "white dressed" inspectors (?), who'll assess your baggage (by looking at colour, size!!) and quote the value of free passage in Dollars. everything ends by you going to a Dark room across the Green/Red Channels and handing over the bargained Dollar to the police. Well, I want to be clear.. if there’s anything that is truly eligible for duty charges, one must be asked to pay the same (to the Govt. of India), but in most cases, it would clothes, camera, may be a camcorder or a laptop and of course, chocolates. Well, paying (or you can call it forced bribing) them isn't the one of most painful things, but it is the kind of conversation you have with those Officers, Helpers and Police. It would be a great service to the people if you could investigate those illegal activities. Thank you for great service to the people of India.

Being member of an Airline crew, I , unfortunately arrive quite often in Mumbai, which is one of the most horrible, dirty, chaotic, disorganized airports I have ever been too. Believe me, I've been in around 700 airports in my career, all over the world. Upon arrival you have to deal with a very complex immigration and customs procedure, which is different in any Indian Airport, and changes from week to week depending on the staff in charge that day. Most of the officials give a very lousy, arrogant impression. They hang around in groups of three or four, hanging on chabby chairs and treat passengers and crew like cattle.they are only busy showing off and abusing the power they might have......
Crew members have to get some stamps and signatures from some officials and therefore they send you from one to another untill someone is willing to sign and stamp and all of them are very arrogant and unfriendly. ( When we arrive in Mumbai, we are awake for around 20 hrs. the least thing we need is a treasure hunt for some oldfashioned, silly, unnecessary, bureaucratic procedure, concerning five stamps and three signatures from who knows what arrogant official) Believe me, ask any crew's honest opinion about Mumbai airport and the immigration and custom procedures and they will all agree. Even passengers do. check out this website for instance:http://www.airlinequality.com/Airports/Airport_forum/bom.htm

this Airport claims to have an Iso 9001 certificate issued in 2001? Unbelievable and not justified at all.
Please realize that passengers and crew are your customers, who are actually paying your salaries. Learn to treat them as customers and with due respect. and please, get in the 21st century.

I am Australian citizen and first time I went to Amritsar airport and but I get very disappointed. No one cares for the passengers. I told the staff on duty to put fragile label to one of my bag as it was having breakable stuff they charged me for extra luggage but no one put the fragile luggage tag. when I opened my luggage here in australia it was all broken. Who is responsible for that? there is too much corruption over the airport. As you enter the airport gate the boys grab your trolley even though you tell them not to take it and then ask for money. If one has given the money then it is ok other wise there partner who is standing on the weighing machines at check in they cause trouble as the luggage is more and charge u for extra luggage. but who has paid there is no limit for them. I have wrote to the airline as well.

Dear Sir,
Today my wife came from kerala through Trivandrum International Airport to Sharjah. In the airport she faced some unnecessary emigration problem like some kind of torchering without any reason. She had the orginal Employment Visa, ECNR and my name also added in her passport. But the emigration people delayed her journey They released her at the last moment. She was travelling first time by air and she was alone. Because of the delay she was mentally upset. Some of my friends also faced the same problem. This is not good for our Airports. So you please take necessary action for the smooth emigration clearence. I (we) hope you will take necessary action for the smooth emigration clearence.
Thanking You,

Hi,

I had an extremely awful experience at the Santa Cruz domestic airport. I made the mistake of taking a taxi from there to the Sahar international airport on the night of Monday, Aug. 1st, 2005. It was around 11 PM and there were no pre-paid taxis. A crook who claimed to be the supervisor and his cheating compatriot taxi driver said that they will take me, my daughter and a friend in 2 taxis for 200 rupees each from one airport to the other. Then, after about 3 - 5 minutes of driving they stopped the car and demanded payment of 2100 rupees per taxi. They showed a card with that price written on it. They threatened to drop me, and my 11-year old daughter and our luggage off in the pouring rain if I did not pay up then and there. The driver was menacing and leaned over the seat as if he will attack me if I did not pay up then and there. They wanted me to pay then and not at the destination. I paid all the Indian currency I had (about 1500 rupees) and almost all the foreign currency that I had (US $ 60). Later, we were stopped by the police and I was told that the driver did not have a valid license. I complained to the police (in the pouring rain) about the taxiwallahs but they did not do anything since they were busy collecting money from them ( I clearly saw money changing hands). Then, I was switched to a different taxi and a different driver who took me to the Sahar airport. I lost most of my cash that night and I was threatened by a crook in my country of birth! I could not take down the taxi license numbers since it was very dark and raining hard. But the police should have a record of stopping 2 taxis near the Santa Cruz airport around that time for a driver without a license.

I am not sure if you can and will do anything about this. I hope that this does not happen to someone else. Mumbai being the gateway to India, I feel ashamed that some one foriegn is going to have an experience like mine!

Thanks,
N. Perumal

activities since my childhood. I used to collect information from
Worldwide Government Offices and renowned NGOs about their development
activities on various Health and Environment related topics. Now I

Development activities which I feel will be extremely necessary for
the people living in our country to develop their awareness and fight
against malnutrition and contagious diseases.
This is also noteworthy that I have taken some initiative already
arranging some camps on rural areas to aware the people about the
latest medical researches on their day-to-day health hazards and the
way to come out from that using the Development materials provided, at
my own cost and got immense response. Till date I am getting more and
more information everyday and trying my level best to make it useful
for the people. The main constraint in doing all these jobs is fund.
Now I am being unable to continue with all these activities at my own
cost.
It is the time, I feel, to get some favors from you to serve our people better.
Forming a World Library…Contacting the helpful persons and keep them

It is totally disappointed to note that still CIAL is charging Rs.500 as Airport Users Fee which is no way acceptable to the passengers as it is already waived off from Trivandrum and Calicaut as well before.

Though CIAL is celebrating its fantastics seventh years anniversary by highlighting its very successfull story I wonder why dont they consider to waive off this expense? If so that would be a best compliment to all those who are working abroad. Please also mind it most of the people working abroad are not big shots but really facing to earn something for them and family and visiting their home back in kerala after a couple of years. Please understand this in its right spirit and do the needful, instead of waiting for someone to file a suite against CIAL.

Regards,
A well wisher

On my recent visit to Calcutta, soon I had arrived in the Netaji Subhas Airport on 19th April2005 at around 1500hrs came by RJ186 Jordonian Airways, after collecting my/while collecting baggage,I had dropped a mini cassette voice recorder and player black Sanyo make on the floor and I heard one staff was asking if I had a cassette recorder and I was not able to comprehend fully as 'I was coming to India to see my brother Ranajit who was in comma for last three days and I was then about to leave for asansol in great hurry and in serious emotion, however I soon learnt my broother had died few hours ago that morning may be while my plane was in Bombay then'; so Later I needed that recorder and I realised the event of loss at Airport.

I enquired only on my return journey day 17th may2005 and was told kindly to launch this appeal to the customs in the Airport.
Please let me know if found and my younger brothers at 11A vidyasagar street will be able to collect from your department. It is of immense value to me and your kind gesture will be appreciated.

My flight was from Heathrow RJ186 to Amman and from there RJ 120(perhaps) to arrive at 1430 hrs on 19th April Calcutta Airport

I lost it at the time of collecting my baggage, and I heard one staff shouting saying if I had a cassette recorder, not fully understanding the situation, as my trip was to attend one of my brother who was in comma for 3days, and soon outside I gathered my brother had already expired that early morning.
