Harlequin Lake Airport is a small, remote airstrip located in the Yakutat area of southeastern Alaska, United States. It serves primarily as a private or backcountry access point for the surrounding wilderness, which includes portions of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve and the Yakutat Forelands. The airport bears the FAA identifier A67 and has no assigned IATA code, reflecting its status as a minor general aviation facility rather than a commercial airport. It is used primarily by small bush planes supporting hunting, fishing, and wilderness recreation in the region. The Yakutat area is known for its exceptional outdoor recreation, including world-class salmon and steelhead fishing. Airstrips like Harlequin Lake serve as critical access points in a region where road infrastructure is extremely limited.
