Point Thomson Sea Ice Airstrip (ICAO: AA50) is a temporary, seasonal airstrip located on the sea ice near Point Thomson on Alaska's North Slope, in the vicinity of Deadhorse and the Prudhoe Bay oil fields. It is used primarily to support industrial and energy operations in the region, including activities related to the Point Thomson natural gas and oil development project operated by ExxonMobil. As a sea ice strip, the facility is inherently seasonal and non-permanent, existing only during winter months when ice conditions are suitable for aircraft operations.
