Burevestnik Airport (IATA: BVV, ICAO: UHSB) is a small regional airport located on Iturup Island, the largest island in the Kuril chain, serving the town of Kurilsk in Sakhalin Oblast, Russia. The airport provides a vital air link for the island's residents, as Iturup is otherwise accessible only by sea, and weather conditions frequently disrupt both modes of transport. The airport operates limited scheduled services, primarily connecting Iturup to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk on Sakhalin Island and occasionally to the Russian mainland.
