Sakeji Airport (ICAO: FLSJ) is a small, unpaved airstrip located in the North-Western Province of Zambia, near the Sakeji mission station close to the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo. It serves primarily as a private or mission-use facility supporting the Sakeji School, a boarding school with historical ties to missionary work in the region. The airstrip is not served by scheduled commercial airline services and functions mainly to allow light aircraft access to this remote area. It provides a vital link for the isolated community, enabling medical evacuations, supply deliveries, and personnel transport that would otherwise require lengthy overland journeys on difficult roads. Given its remote location and limited infrastructure, the airport has no formal terminal building, commercial facilities, or public transport connections. It is typical of bush airstrips found throughout rural Zambia and is primarily used by private pilots and mission aviation organizations.
