Lüdao Airport, also known as Green Island Airport, is a small domestic airport serving Lüdao (Green Island), a volcanic island located approximately 33 kilometers off the southeastern coast of Taiwan near Taitung. The airport provides the primary air link between the island and the Taiwanese mainland, complementing ferry services. The airport handles light propeller aircraft and serves a modest volume of passengers, primarily tourists visiting the island's coral reefs, hot springs, and scenic coastline. It is one of the few airports in Taiwan operating scheduled domestic flights to a small outlying island. Due to the island's compact geography and short runway, only small turboprop aircraft can operate at Lüdao Airport, and flights are subject to weather-related disruptions given the island's exposed maritime location.
