Messla Airport (ICAO: HLML) is a small, non-commercial airfield located in the Messla region of central Libya, within the Sirte Basin. It primarily serves the petroleum industry, supporting oil exploration and extraction operations in one of Libya's most productive hydrocarbon zones. The airport is not served by scheduled commercial passenger airlines and lacks an IATA code, reflecting its status as an industrial and operational airfield rather than a public airport. Access is largely restricted to personnel and cargo associated with oilfield operations in the surrounding area.
