Itokama Airport is a small, remote airstrip located in the Oro Province of Papua New Guinea, serving the isolated community of Itokama. The airport provides essential air access to a region where road infrastructure is extremely limited or nonexistent, making aviation the primary means of reaching the area. The airstrip is typical of bush airports in Papua New Guinea, characterized by a short, unpaved runway suitable only for small propeller-driven aircraft. It plays a vital role in connecting local communities to provincial and national services, including medical supply and humanitarian aid delivery.
