Kajjansi Airfield is a small general aviation facility located on the northern shore of Lake Victoria, approximately 14 kilometres south of Kampala, Uganda's capital city. It serves primarily as a base for light aircraft operations, skydiving, flight training, and private aviation rather than scheduled commercial airline services. The airfield is home to the Aero Club of Uganda and several flying schools, making it a key centre for pilot training in the country. Its proximity to Lake Victoria provides scenic surroundings and influences local weather patterns that pilots must navigate. Kajjansi is not equipped for large commercial aircraft and handles no significant scheduled passenger traffic. It operates alongside Entebbe International Airport, which serves as Uganda's primary international and domestic aviation gateway.
