Ramon Air Base (ICAO: LLRM) is a military airfield operated by the Israeli Air Force (IAF), located in the Negev Desert near Beersheba in southern Israel. It serves as a key operational installation for Israeli military aviation and is not open to commercial passenger traffic. The base shares its name with the Ramon Crater (Makhtesh Ramon), a large geological formation in the Negev region. It should not be confused with Ramon Airport (LLRM formerly associated with Eilat), as Israeli military and civilian infrastructure in the region has undergone several naming and operational changes over the decades. As a restricted military facility, Ramon Air Base is not accessible to the general public, and detailed operational information is limited due to security considerations.
