Fazenda Esmeralda do Norte Airstrip is a small private aerodrome located in the municipality of Bonfim, in the state of Roraima, northern Brazil. Registered under the ICAO code SNE8, it primarily serves agricultural operations associated with the Fazenda Esmeralda do Norte estate. The airstrip is typical of private farm strips found throughout Brazil's interior, providing essential air access to remote areas where road infrastructure is limited or unreliable. It is not open to scheduled commercial air service and primarily supports private general aviation flights. Bonfim is a border municipality near Guyana, and the broader region is characterized by savanna landscapes and agricultural activity. Private airstrips like this one play a critical logistical role in connecting remote fazendas to urban centers.
