Feidong Bailong General Airport is a general aviation facility located in Feidong County, on the eastern fringe of Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province in eastern China. Serving primarily private, charter, and general aviation operations rather than scheduled commercial flights, it plays a supporting role in the broader Hefei aviation network alongside the larger Xinqiao International Airport. The airport reflects Anhui's growing investment in regional and general aviation infrastructure as the province expands its connectivity.
- General Aviation Terminal — A compact facility handling private, charter, and light aviation operations with basic passenger and cargo processing services.
- Taxi services available at the airport exit
- Ride-hailing apps (Didi) accessible from the airport area
- Private car hire arranged through charter operators
- Road access via Feidong County road network connecting to Hefei city center
- Feidong Jinjiang Inn
- GreenTree Inn Feidong
- Home Inn Feidong County
Dining options within the airport itself are minimal given its general aviation status, with basic refreshments available through the terminal. Feidong County town nearby offers local Anhui cuisine restaurants serving dishes such as Li Hongzhang Hodgepodge and braised pork. Visitors are advised to arrange meals in Feidong town or pack provisions before arrival.
- Pre-arrange ground transportation as taxis and ride-hailing availability at this general airport can be limited.
- Confirm your flight details directly with your charter or general aviation operator as schedules are not publicly posted.
- For commercial flights to or from Hefei, use Hefei Xinqiao International Airport (HFE) instead.
- Carry cash in Chinese yuan as card acceptance and ATM availability at small general aviation airports in China can be unreliable.
